Are You Sweating Yet?
Come on. Admit it. It’s cathartic. I promise you feel better once you’ve had a good cry.
I mean, really, Time and Newsweek both show an 11-point lead for Bush. The Dem convention was a flop. The protests were kept in check by the NYPD. The union representing FDNY backs Bush.
The Swift Boat Vets are still out there, on the loose. Unrestrained. A loose cannon with only one target, and nobody knows when it’s going to fire next.
As Gore (Mark I, II & III) found out last time, Bush can hold his own in a debate. And he’s a scrapper who loves the political street fight. And Kerry will come off as a snooty Massachusetts liberal.
Even James Carville priced himself out the market when Kerry asked him for help. Serpent Head is many things, but dumb ain’t one of ‘em.
Kerry keeps making mindless mistakes (going after Cheney over his deferments when Kerry himself first sought one before enlisting in the Naval Reserves). And he’s getting more and more angry. Uh oh.
So here, take my hanky, and let it all out.
