Don’t Let Them Get Away With It

Just watching Fox News Sunday here. Juan Williams tried a tactic that I’d seen in times past, and have recently seen used during this election cycle.

Unable to specifically criticize an opposing point of view, the Dems try to “set the tone” by claiming that they’re all “lies” and “all wrong.” Just saying it makes it so, for them. Or so they hope.

In this case, it’s the Swift Boat Vets. I didn’t hear this tactic used against them first from Juan, I heard it elsewhere. But it’s right out of the same old dusty toolbox that had so successfully served the libs in times past. When they, alone, controlled information distribution.

Nu uh. Not anymore. It don’t work that way, bud.

Brit Hume jumped Williams, noting that it’s simply not true that the SWVs have been debunked.

It’s at times like these, when the Dems are trying to step right past the charges, ignoring them instead of dealing with them, that we have to use this newfound power we have to push and press the Dems to actually prove what they say, Rather (heh) than just propagandize around it.

Never, ever give the bastards an inch.
