Let's Talk About How Smart I Am (Version 4.0)
Heh heh. I called it before Rush. How many of you can say that? Granted (and isn't this ironic?) he was at a disadvantage because he can only say things between noon and 3 PM (East Coast time). Nevertheless, I got there first.
Rush was just talking about how we've reached a point where the media is finally realizing that they've been carrying water for the Dems, and may be getting tired of being caught out in the open.
I've been saying for some time two things: 1) The Media™©, understanding that the New Media was depriving them of their monopoly on information distribution (and the effects that would have on their candidates) would become more and more openly partisan.
That just happened. Just like I said it would (and the CBS flap is not the only example, just the most blatant). Ahem. :D
2) I said the Adults (meaning the executives) would eventually ask their "news" people, "what the hell have you people been up to?!" That may be happening at Black Rock (See? BS! - ha!) right this very minute.
In the end, the Columbia Broadcasting System is a business. Their "news" wing is a part of that. If that wing brings disrepute on the larger organization then the cooler heads are going to want to make it STOP.
Why pay Dan Rather $12,000,000 a year if he's only going to embarrass the execs? Uh huh.
Next up: Let's talk some more about Viet Nam! (Nawww, I don't have to talk about it, the Dems will keep it on tap. Fools.)
