Last Shot At Horsey (for now)
I was just looking at that Horsey cartoon again and noticed that he had depicted Rush Limbaugh as (of course) fat.
For one thing, Mr. Limbaugh has slimmed down quite a bit. And that happened quite a few years ago. Now, I don't object to Horsey's inaccurate depiction, but it brought up another instance of something I commented on earlier.
Why is it "okay" for libs to take potshots at somebody's physical shape? Have they none of their vaunted sensitivity for Mr. Limbaugh's beleaguered body image? Have they no tolerance for Plus Size people?
Why is it acceptable for libs to chortle over Al Franken's book, Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot?

Please forgive me in the future if I tend to dismiss lib outrage at the lack of sensitivity they see in people like me.

At the time that Al Franken wrote "Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat idiot", he was. Undeniably. He's lost weight since. Whatever. He's also been laundering money and buying pharmaceutical pain-killers. The use of which was the cause of his oh-so devastating loss of hearing that required a godsend of a cochlear implant that saved him for his drooling, mouth-breathing audience. The way he treats other people he should have thicker skin.
I'll never forget how on his short-lived television show he pulled some stupid crap where he was picking on thirteen year-old Chelsea Clinton at her awkward age by showing here picture and referring to her as the "Whitehouse dog". WHAT A MAN!!! Another time, and THIS IS HILARIOUS, he was on the Letterman show when he decided he would be funny and make a comment about Hillary Clinton's fat ass. The audience just sat there. Then Letterman mentioned that maybe he wasn't the one to be talking about fat asses, the audience exploded with laughter. After that, Limbaugh never showed up on any venue other than his own with the screened calls etc., without first getting agreements beforehand as to what questions would be asked and so forth. So, why is okay for someone like Limbaugh to "take potshots at someone's physical shape" without having to endure a little of it himself? Just like a bully, when someone fires back he folds up like a wet, cardboard box. So anyone who fires back at someone who paractices chronic boorish behavior is a hypocrite on the sensitivity issue? You right-wing types prefer the punching-bag types, don't you. Now, what is with the "asshat" crap? Are we stooping to pathetic name-calling? (JB)
