Satan, Get That Pineapple Ready!
Looks like Castro is on his way down soon.
Looks like Castro is on his way down soon.
With fireworks over Havana harbour and the first military parade of this century, hundreds of thousands of Cubans turned out yesterday for Fidel Castro's belated 80th birthday party, but the veteran leader did not appear.I’ve heard on good authority that the wake will be held at JB’s house. I’m thinking of sponsoring a fundraiser for his grief therapy.
No one had said he would, but there had been hints, including one from vice-president Carlos Lage, who said in advance that "we will have him among us" but left it open as to whether he meant yesterday or simply for ever. The Comandante's absence strongly suggested that his illness was serious, possibly even terminal, and that he was unlikely to grasp the reins of power again.
Comments:
Just what is your "good authority"? If not for the lobby in Miami, Cuba would be welcomed by the WTO and enjoy Most Favored Nation status and we would be exporting jobs there. Bush siblings would be members of their national Chamber of Commerce. (Just like boy georges' Uncle Jonathan is in China) Are some communists better that others? What is the difference? Why do you love China and hate Cuba? Why do you say such stupid things? JB
Translation: speculation, speculation, speculation, insult.
Did I get that right?
Oh, and I have no particular love for China. That’d be Bush I’s thing. Not mine. GHWB’s love of China above human rights is why I left the Republican Party oh those many years ago. (have since returned)
So, hey, been listening to any good Manheim Steamroller this season?
